Shayne Helliwell and his family

Hi, my name is Steve, and I'm fundraising for Shayne Helliwell and his family. On October 1st, I received a text that Shayne had been driving home when his car collided with a tractor-trailer on Rte 495 the night before. His vehicle was totaled, and Shayne went off the road and crashed into the woods. Shayne remains in critical condition at Lahey Hospital in Burlington. He's had two surgeries in the past ten days.

Shayne is the manager of our Fitness Together in Westborough. His accident is a shock to us all. His co-workers and clients all love him and feel despair with his absence.

Nine months ago, Shayne and his fiance, Sarah Miller gave birth to their beautiful baby girl, Ember. The baby hasn't seen her dad in 10 days since he was hospitalized.

No one else was hurt in the accident except for Shayne, who remains in critical condition. He has sustained life-altering injuries: his left arm shattered, he lost his left eye, multiple facial fractures that are being reconstructed and injuries to the brain that are still unknown. His doctors say he has a long road to recovery, including rehabilitation. They have yet to determine his exact prognosis.

Sarah and Ember need our financial help to cover living expenses and ongoing medical bills. Please donate whatever you can to this beautiful family and say a prayer for Shayne that he recovers soon. Our prayers and wishes are with Shayne and his family.
