Shay's Medical Expense Help

Shay is the mother of two children and has been in child care for 20 years. The past 5 years she has been the director of a child care facility in the area. In March 2016 doctors found a tumor growing in the wall of Shay's uterus. Even though this tumor is benign it continues to grow and is causing severe pain and discomfort. She has a UFE procedure scheduled in the coming months. This procedure will shrink and kill the tumor without having to do a more invasive surgery which could include a hysterectomy. She will be hospitalized and on bed rest for at least a week. She needs help coming up with the out of pocket expenses the procedure and hospital stay will cost. She has had an out pouring support from family and friends which she is eternally greatful for. We will keep you updated on the results of the procedure and her condition.
