Hello Wonderful people,

9 months ago , I was delivered some news that rocked our world. I was diagnosed with L/H side breast cancer which was lobular and triple negative which is a very rare type.
This is a very aggressive type of cancer and has spread rapidly through parts of my body unfortunately, I have now had a double Mastectomy and approximately 45 lymph nodes removed from underneath both of my arms.
I have had a 6 month course of chemotherapy, in conjunction with immunotherapy and also Radio Therapy to help keep this disease at bay , unfortunately nothing has worked and only held kept it stagnent for a short time. I have recently been advised that the cancer has spread to the R/H side of my brain and other bones/lymph nodes in my body ( Spine / Hips & lower skull/ Stomach )
Throughout this process I have had amazing support from beautiful friends, family and the community. During my medical journey I have learnt that not all people have this support, I want to do something to help these people and partners , through the Breast & Endocrine Centre at Attunga House ( Burnside Hospital) So I want to work on establishing, or working with a charity to help to provide care packs with Information/ Gifts / Vouchers/ Breast Pillows/ Sunflowers/ Specialised garments etc to help them through what is a terrible time in their lives.
The amazing medical staff at Icon Cancer Centre , located at Tennyson Centre , provide an amazing level of care for all forms of cancer patients throughout everyones individual journeys. The patients and staff endure long and often uncomfortable days , often don't get breaks or relax time, I would like to work towards providing the above with some regular morning tea's or lunches to help them get through.
Please know that all of the money raised will go 100% towards this , which with Lee's help, I would like to establish a legal charity to be non for profit , unfortunately due to short time frames and legalities it is impossible to have this establish prior. I want this to be my legacy and ensure all the money is allocated accordingly.
