As many of you know, our incredible Emmylou Ebora-Villanueva has been bravely fighting metastatic ovarian cancer since 2018. Despite everything she’s faced, Emmylou remains a fighter – strong, hopeful, and determined to never give up. Even as the cancer has progressed to a terminal stage, Emmylou continues to hold onto hope, always with a smile on her face and a heart full of faith. She and all of us around her still believe in the power of miracles.

Emmylou is like a mother to us. Some of us lovingly call her "Mama Emz." She is a beloved and proud member of Singles for Christ, and now Couples for Christ. She has always been a beacon of light, love, and inspiration to all who know her. Her courage, unwavering faith, and kindness have made her a role model to many. Everyone who meets her is struck by her warmth, generosity, and the love she radiates despite the challenges she faces. Emmylou's spirit continues to shine, and she remains a source of strength and inspiration to all.

Her husband, Irneil, has stood by her side through every step of this long battle. My daughter calls him "Tito-bear." As tough as he might look, he is warm, soft, and gentle on the inside. He has shown unwavering love, care, and dedication to Emmylou, providing her with strength even in the most difficult moments. However, the financial burdens of future expenses are becoming overwhelming, and they are in urgent need of support.
