Shea Family Fund
Donation protected
Below is the story of Erica Shea. The reason for this fund is to help her family with childcare and other needs during this very difficult time. She is on bed rest and is unable to lift her son. By helping Erica and her family, you are helping her take care of herself and her son without compromising her health. She has many loving volunteers to help her, but that can only go so far!
"I am 32 years old and have a 13-month-old son who is the light of my life, and an amazing wonderful husband. And we are pregnant again with another child. This is actually our fourth pregnancy but our other children are in heaven.
I found out yesterday that the extreme pain that I've been having and my inability to walk as of the past two weeks is most likely a result of what doctors think is breast cancer that has spread to my spine. Up until yesterday I thought it was a slipped disc. If this is true they will need to treat the cancer aggressively and fast. And they are highly suggesting that we terminate this pregnancy. Those closest to me know that it is not an easy choice at all but they want me to be saved. After all I know about abortion I cannot be responsible for ending the life of my own child. It is God's responsibility to form life in the womb and write each person's story day by day. I cannot accept the responsibility of taking control of when to end a life just to possibly extend my own."
