Benedict Sheehan Vespers Recording

Benedict Sheehan’s Vespers, following on the heels of his critically acclaimed Liturgy, is a groundbreaking new concert work based on chant melodies from the Eastern Orthodox tradition. The piece will be recorded in July of 2021 in Pennsylvania by the GRAMMY-nominated Saint Tikhon Choir, under the direction of the composer. We have almost raised all of the funds needed to undertake this important project, but we need your help to get to the finish line!

In recognition of your generosity, every contribution over $100 will receive a personal thank you note from Benedict Sheehan and an acknowledgment in the CD liner notes. If you can give $500 or more, please give us your mailing address and we'll also send you a copy of the recording signed by Benedict Sheehan. If you are able to give $1000, we will add a signed copy of the printed Vespers score.  

And here's the big offer: If you can give as much as $2,500, Benedict Sheehan will personally compose a chant arrangement of an Orthodox troparion to the saint or feast of your choosing, with a dedication of your choosing at the top of it. His pencil is ready and waiting!
