She-Empowers Women & Girls Initiative

Hi, my name is Madeleine Freeland. I am the founder of She-Empowers Initiative. This non-profit organization empowers Nigerian women in business. For many women in rural Nigeria, their businesses keep their families afloat, but they struggle to make ends meet.

At She-Empowers Initiative, we believe that every woman can achieve successful businesses. Our programs are designed to provide entrepreneurship training, foster economic independence and develop leadership potential.

These funds will allow us to train female entrepreneurs in Nigeria, helping them run successful, profitable businesses. The funds will also be used to cover book and other school supplies to support Nigerian girls' education as well as our educational programs (i.e. career readiness and hygiene programs). By donating, you are supporting the growth of female businesses, breaking female business-owners out of the cycle of poverty, and helping them provide for their families.
