Sheffield family house fire on Christmas Day
Donation protected
My sister, her partner and their family (5 teenagers & a 5 year old) have just had their family home in Lower Barrington, Sheffield damaged immensely by a devastating electrical fire this morning, on Christmas Day.
Fortunately they had left the house already to come to Christmas lunch, so no one was injured.
My Mum and Dad live in a granny flat on the same property, luckily they noticed the smoke and the firefighters were very quick on arrive to take over from Dad using the hose. Thanks Dad.
The results of this fire is catastrophic, the entire house is ruined and the house is completely uninhabitable. However, it could have been a lot worse and we are so thankful the family and pets are safe.
All items in the home have been destroyed, and with 6 kids, 2 dogs, & 2 cats the cost and effort of replacing necessities is very overwhelming.
Thanks for reading, any donation to help during this time would be greatly appreciated.
Update 26/12: We are honestly blown away by the kindness of everyone. Thank you all so so much. We have updated the goal, not really sure what to put for it, just wanted to say what a caring community and everyone is looking out for the family so much. ♥️
