Shelburne Family Home Destroyed by Fire

Our son, daughter-in-law, and three small children, as well as our son's elderly father are left homeless after a major fire in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. The fire started yesterday morning, and destroyed their home, and everything in it.

Local Shelburne people and businesses have been amazing, providing bags of clothes, toys, diapers and other essentials, but it is expected that insurance and other helping agencies will be slower.

Meanwhile they are facing massive expenses to replace everything that they need in day to day life, and to find a new place to live until their new house is built.

We're asking for whatever donation is possible to help them out. Right now they've moved into our house up in Western Head, but that's very temporary.
