Heart Transplant, medical expense and travel needs

Hooray we have been moved out of the ICU! This is very rare to happen to a child and all her providers across all specialties are working together to find a solution. This may be a long journey so prayers and financial help would be greatly appreciated. There may be further fundraising in Billings.

 Now what you all have been wondering.

 1. Shelby has cardiomyopathy with scaring on her heart. No matter what the underlying cause is they still would treat it the same. She has started an ACE inhibitor(can’t remember the exact one but starts with an e ) to help the heart. She has also been on a liquid restriction and started Lasix.

 2. For some unknown reason Shelby has restricted lungs and what appears to be blood pooling at the bottom. They are monitoring this but no active treatment as of yet.

 3. She has lots of labwork pending for a whole gamut of autoimmune diseases. We also are doing a wide genetic test to see if there is a reason to be found there.
