Shellane and family expenses

As most know, Bethany, my daughter was in a car accident with her friends on 11/20/2021. Bethany has a fractured neck and concussion. She will be in a C Collar for at least 6 weeks. Doctors say she has ptsd delirium. So she will have moments of lucid-ness and moments of disorientation. She need someone with her 24/7 for the first few weeks. Once we go for the follow up with the orthopedic doctor in December we will find out more as to what she needs and how long she will be out of school etc.

This unfortunate event has put a punch in our lives. And now I must figure out how to bring some income in while I am home with Bethany. I never saw myself making a go fund me page but desperate measure, right? I have to care for not only Bethany but Zaide too. Between bills and food and just random expenses, I’m not sure how I’m going to do this.

I have some ideas of what I’ll be trying to do. Pulling money out of my 401k, pulling from Bethanys disability that I was saving to give to her on her 18th birthday, and I have to cancel our trip to Greece that we signed up for through her high school. Also won’t be getting the kids any Christmas presents, other than a stocking with some small things. Nothing expensive.

So here I am! I know the amount says $6,000 but I wasn’t sure what to put as I don’t know how long I will be out of work. So I put two months worth of wages just in case. Now I don’t expect to get this much and that’s ok! Anything helps! Anything is very appreciated!
