Hi, my name’s Shelley and I’m fundraising for surgery to help with my disfigurement.

I have quite a bit of reconstructive surgery that I need done after an accident and then subsequent infection and botched surgery.

I had 2 reality tv shows offer to help but then backed out. This whole event happened to me 4 and a half years ago and I have lost over 4 years of wages as a realtor and had to suffer from chronic infections/open wounds and embarrassing facial scarring and disfigurement.

I don’t have the money for surgery and when these shows reached out to me it was like a total dream come true for me…only to be let down twice now. If anyone knows any doctors who work on patients that don’t have the money for procedures please get in touch with me! I’m willing to do anything to start to look better, 4.5 years of looking like this has been incredibly wearing on my self esteem.

I’m a PhD student and mother of two sons and I don’t have the money to cover the procedures that I need. I moved to Florida to get better health insurance and was hoping to get corrective surgery on my face/scalp only to find out that I had Stage 4 Endometriosis and had to decide whether it was more important to save my ovaries or fix my face and I chose my ovaries. I really can’t afford to go back and rent a room and leave my children again, so I’m back in Delaware for good. In Delaware I’m spending $250 per Kenalog injection while trying to save up money for the laser procedures because they range from 2K-5K. I have permanent facial paralysis on the left side of my face and I have been told I will never fully look the same. I will have to be okay with 90% and I have made peace with that, Sepsis can be deadly.

I’m searching for a surgeon that can help me or one that would take my case on for a reduced rate. I was quoted 14K/15K to fix the issues with my forehead/eyebrow area and $20K for the cheek implants and fat transfer to fix my cheek area that was affected.
