Shelley Thomas Memorial and Scholarship Fund

Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

We come together to honor the memory of Shelley Iris Thomas, an incredible mother, sister, friend and colleague whose kindness, generosity, and spirit touched the lives of many. Shelley was known for her boundless compassion, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 In celebration of Shelley's life and to ensure that her impact endures, we have created this GoFundMe page to raise funds for a meaningful memorial. The memorial will serve as a lasting tribute to her memory, a place where family and friends can gather to reflect on the beautiful moments they shared with Shelley.

 Shelley worked in the Montana State University's Chemical and Biological Engineering department for more than 20 years. She guided students, faculty and colleagues in their career journeys. In Shelley’s memory, a scholarship endowment has been established by MSU Chemical and Biological Engineering faculty to support engineering students at Montana State University. Any extra funds raised in this page will be dedicated to the scholarship fund. This fund will support MSU students who embody the values and aspirations that Shelley held dear. It is our hope that this scholarship will help others pursue their dreams and achieve their goals, just as Shelley always encouraged and supported those around them.

Shelley’s memorial event will take place in Montana State University, at the Norm Asbjornson Building’s Inspiration Hall on 26 October 2024 at 10:00 AM.
