Shellsburg Legionaire Richard Carver House Fire

Hi, my name is Ed Shaeffer and I'm the Adjutant (secretary) of the Ray & Virginia Boyer Post 166 American Legion in Shellsburg, IA. I'm fundraising for fellow Shellsburg American Legion member Richard Carver,  who's house was destroyed by fire on May 16.  All of Richard's possessions were lost and he's currently living with relatives.   The American Legion's mission is veterans helping veterans and our member veteran is in dire need of assistance to replace all of his possessions.

Richard is a valued member of the Shellsburg Legion and is the Chaplin's assistant and also volunteers in our semi-annual Fish Fry fundraiser.
