Hi! As many of you know on July 28th my world was turned upside down. I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. It’s spread to my lymph nodes and my right lung. I had surgery on august 16th to remove the tumor on my back which was pretty big. I had to have a plastic surgeon go in a move some skin around to be able to close it up. I have a lot of doctors appointments and treatments ahead of me. I am unable to work at this time. I have applied for SSID which can take up to five months to receive. I’m working with a financial advisor at the James brown cancer center, but as of now. I’m not receiving any assistance. This is honestly the last thing I want to do, but I need help! I need help with bills…car payment, phone, gas, groceries…etc. Anything that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated! I just want to thank you in advance and if you can’t I completely understand. Please just say a prayer. Love, Shelly ❤️

Update:

I went Friday for my second treatment. They were able to use my newly installed port. Yay! I ask my oncologist why I was still in so much pain, like excruciating pain feeling coming from the inside out. He told me that it’s one of the biggest tumor he’s ever seen. That’s why I’m still in so much pain. I thought by now I’d be feeling so much better, but I’m not and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone! I need prayers and if you can please find it in your heart to donate. Anything is soooo appreciated. I’m so grateful for all the donations thus far either through the go fund me or through other avenues. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
