Shelly Bradshaw & Jim Hammond flood recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Javier Betancourt and I am fundraising for my friend Shelly Bradshaw and her family who were recently impacted by the severe flooding in Fort Lauderdale. Shelly‘s home, her husband Jim Hammond’s art studio, and her parents’ home (that’s her Mom and her neighbor in the photo) were all completely flooded out, leaving them without a home for now, and having lost many of their possessions and treasured art pieces.
Shelly and Jim are beloved and active members of Ft. Lauderdale’s artistic community, bringing joy to thousands through their work with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Parker Playhouse, Day of the Dead Parade, and more.
Read more about their story in this Sun Sentinel article, and please donate what you can to help their recovery:

The goal is to raise $5,000 to help offset their losses and begin their recovery, including temporary housing, cleanup, repairs, replacement of lost possessions, supplies for their many pets, etc. Every penny raised will be delivered directly to Shelly Bradshaw as it is received.
Suggested donation is $50-$100, but we’ll take less if that’s what you can afford, or more if you have the means.
THANK YOU!!!
