Shelly Burton Heart Attack Recovery

As some of you know my sweet Grandma Shelly Burton had a heart attack this weekend. She had surgery today to put in a stint for a 90% blockage. Unfortunately there are other arteries that blocked that they cannot put stints in. We are very thankful she is currently recovering at St. Luke's Medical Center one of the top Heart Hospitals in the city. Shelly's heart attack coming so soon after her sister Stacy's death from heart issues has our whole family scared and upset. The unexpected doctor bills and time off work has Shelly very worried and that stress is not good for her recovery. I would like to set a goal to help with her hospital and surgery costs and to start raising money to help her get the lap-band surgery which the doctor said could help save her life but insurance will not cover.  It is tough being a single Mom and her son McAllister who just turned 13 is her number one priority.  It is time to show her she should be priority too. Anyone who knows my Grandma Shelly knows that she would do anything to help you. She makes more chicken and noodles than anyone I know always delivering them to try and help someone during a tough time and she could really use your help today.
