Hey family and friends!
I decided to start this page with some reservations as there are so many people who are struggling with health issues far greater I am sure. But I am looking for support, prayers and financial support if anyone is able.
I have been struggling with multiple medical symptoms for the past few months and have been trying to push through. Unfortunately its gotten to the point where its become debilitating in many ways. I have seen doctors and specialists here in Michigan and they are unable to figure out whats going on. It is very frustrating and scary not knowing. My doctor has decided to send me to Mayo clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. This is approximately 11 hours away from home. While i am hopeful they can figure out what is going on....it will be financially straining. Especially since i have been off work for the past two weeks and have no idea how much longer i will be off. And all the upcoming medical expenses are completely unknown at this time.
I have medical insurance currently but this will all be out network expenses, plus the cost of travel and lodging.
I am looking for supprt from anyone who can help. This is a necessary trip and i am praying it will provide some answers and treatment so i can lead a healthy life. It is going to mean more testing, many appointments with specialists, travel expenses etc.
MIke will be going with me so I won't be alone which is comforting. It is just a scary and hard situation.
I am waiting to hear when exactly I will be going. But I was told it will be a few weeks at least before I can get in.
Any support is greatly appreciated, and prayers are definitely welcomed.
