Shelly’s Second Fight with Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

We’re reaching out to you all today to ask for your help. Our mother Shelly has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time around. Her official diagnosis is high grade serous carcinoma. We are staying hopeful and praying for the best.

Shelly is already struggling with financial challenges from being out of work for the last several months due to pain and mobility issues. On top of that she is now facing a very serious illness. This is why I'm turning to you all today - to humbly ask for your assistance. Her options and treatment plan are still developing but she no doubt has a tough road ahead and could use your help and support right away.

I have created this GoFundMe page with the aim of raising funds to help alleviate some of the financial burden. Any amount donated will go towards medical bills, prescriptions, tests, travel to/from Iowa City and everyday expenses that come with managing and navigating through this illness.
