Shelter & Care for Chickens of Little Havana
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
I’m a teacher at a school in the area of Little Havana. When we opened our doors this past August, I noticed many chickens in the area that were always around searching for food and safe places for themselves and their chicks. I immediately fell in love with these little creatures and have been doing my best to care for them by providing chicken feed, unused produce from our school, and keeping the neighborhood clean. I would love to provide more care for these amazing animals by having consistent food, necessary vitamins and nutrients, and reliable shelter on our school grounds. Any small amount of support you provide will help our science teacher and I provide these items for the chickens, and assist us in teaching our students how to care for their community and it’s inhabitants through our growing STEM program. Thank you all for your willingness to help!
