Shelter Playframe for Port Lympne Lion Cubs
We made the shelter happen now let’s help feed the animals at this really hard time with the reserve closed . The animals still need feeding and I’m sure we can help with this too . Im going to start this where we left off with the shelter. Port Lympne Wild Animal Park based in Kent recently had 3 adorable lion cubs born to first time parents Oudrika and Adras. They have a popular live cub cam with a 24-hour stream on YouTube for followers to keep an eye on the antics of the pride. The cubs are growing fast and it is amazing to watch them playing and developing. As keen supporters of the pride and The Aspinall Foundation we have set up a fundraiser to build the pride a shelter and play frame to add more enrichment to their enclosure. Despite having a nice heated bedroom the pride are often found enjoying the outdoors despite the bad weather. We hope this new shelter and playframe will give the pride more options to spend their time indoors or outdoors and make the most of their wonderful enclosure. We are also hoping to raise enough for the addition of an indoor camera in the new shelter which will not only allow supporters to keep an eye on the cubs but their keepers too! Every penny raised will go The Aspinall Foundation to build this for years of enjoyment for both the pride and for the pride’s supporters. Thank you very much.
