We have stopped collecting donations as we have surpassed the amount. It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of Sheree Murray or Peg as she was known by those close to her, the beloved daughter of Jan and Aidan Murray, who lost her life in an unimaginable way. Her loss has left her family in shock and grief as they always had hope that they could bring her home.

For the past 76 days she fought hard to live, it has been mentally and emotionally difficult for her family especially her beautiful children that are now left without their Mammy. Her family made the journey to Dublin everyday to be at her side, to support her and hold her, willing her to pull through.

I am asking now, that we come together to support them during this difficult time, as they navigate the heartache of losing their daughter, sister, mother, aunt. This situation is very sad for everyone, and the family are facing unexpected financial burdens.

I have spoken to loads of people over the past few weeks who all only had good things to say about Sheree. She was a character of New Ross if you didn’t know her you would have heard of her. Sheree always had the time to stop and say hello to everyone. Sheree had a place in her heart to help those who needed help, by opening her doors and giving people a place to stay who had nowhere else to turn to.

I wanted to set up this go fund me with the permission from the Murray Family to give Sheree a peaceful and thoughtful Funeral that she deserves. If by any chance that we raise enough money to cover the funeral costs and if there is any money left over it will be shared between Sheree’s Children Dylan, Kayla, Josh, Lilly & Leon to help with their ongoing living expenses.
