Sherene Walema

Dear friends and family,

On the night of April 13th Sherene Walema’s life was taken in a tragic, unforeseen motor-vehicle accident. She was a cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, and friend who brought so much love and joy to every one of our lives. We are heartbroken by this loss and are struggling to cover the costs of her funeral.

Sherene was a 15-year-old freshman in high school whose personality was loving, caring, humorous, and full of so much joy. She loved the game of softball more than anything and even made the varsity squad as a freshman. She never missed out on quality time with family and friends and you could always count on her to make you laugh because that is who she was.

We have created this GoFundMe campaign in the hopes of raising funds to help us give Sherene the farewell she deserves. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated, as anything helps. The funds raised will go towards helping cover the cost of the funeral and any medical expenses.
