Funeral for Sherilee Retchford

Dear friends, family,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sherilee Anne Retchford aka Fatty recently passed on 22/09/2024 in Cairns Hospital. Sherilee was a wonderful sister, mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & friend. who touched the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her She leaves behind many family members.

Sherilee dedicated her life to many, she was such a strong person with a heart of gold. Sherilee requested before her passing that she would like to be taken back to Mount Isa to be buried close to other loved ones.

As we come to terms with Sherilee’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging her final farewell. We want to give her the dignified and heartfelt send-off she deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses and surrounding costs are overwhelming for Sherilee's family during this already challenging time.

We are reaching out to our community for support in honouring Sherilee's memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering her.

Funds raised will go towards returning Sherilee back to Mount Isa & funeral service costs. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Sherilee is laid to rest with the respect, and celebration she deserves.
