Sheri's Bowel Cancer & Brain Tumour Assistance

Sheri was unexpectedly diagnosed with Bowel Cancer just before her 50th Birthday in September 2022. Surgery went ahead in October 2022 and then she has recently started her chemo journey on the 1st of February 2023.

Unfortunately, while Sheri does have private health, this has not covered a large number of medical expenses from her MRIs to some hospital expenses. While Sheri has a large amount of support from her family and friends around her, with the rising cost of living, we are struggling to financially assist her. Sheri has had to decrease her hours at work, therefore is finding it tough to try and cover all these medical costs.

UPDATE 6/2/24:

The unexpected costs have continued for Sheri, unfortunately last week she was admitted to Hospital and it was discovered she now has a brain tumour which requires urgent surgery. This is now going to put Sheri out of pocket nearly $6,000. Which is not something we have to just pull out of nowhere within 3 days for this surgery.

Sheri is very selfless, she always puts everyone else before herself even when she needs herself the most right now. We would like to just assist her in any way possible as Sheri is such a kindhearted lady and deserves the absolute world and more!
