A last trip together in the cancer journey
Our Mom, Sheri, was diagnosed with Stage 4 bilateral breast cancer a year ago. Further testing revealed cancer in the femur and a tumor through the skull which is inoperable. One small tumor was hidden in an annual mammogram. After an ultrasound, a cyst was found and expelled. The tumor showed on her annual mammogram last year.
After radiation treatment, and 15 tests later, she is on chemo meds daily. Outstanding medical bills that cancer entails, lead us to this request for assistance for one last trip to see her former boss and dear friend, who has also just been diagnosed with Stage 4 bilateral lung cancer.
Our Mom is able to travel at this time, and this trip would be beneficial for her and this dear friend as encouragement for each other in their cancer journey and to see each other one last time. Our Dad could accompany her as well. Our goal is to raise $1500 by July 15th. We kindly ask for your assistance, which would be a blessing for all.
