In Loving Memory of Sherri Ames (AKA FudgeLady)

Hi, my name is Ken, and I am fundraising in memory of my wife, Sherri Ames, also known as Fudgelady for people in the Pekin, Illinois and Denham Springs, Louisiana areas.

Sherri was an exceptional woman. She would always be the first one to step in and help someone if she could. She had many talents including sewing, cooking (her pralines were the best!), baking, crochet, and fixing things (often referred to as the "female MacGyver")

Above all this Sherri was extremely devote to her family and friends. She always put family and friends first. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, step-mother, sister, daughter, and friend.

She was a fighter. surviving dozens of surgeries and procedures. Ultimately, her body could not fight anymore, and Sherri peacefully passed away with family present on September 15, 2023.

Sherri's final wishes were to be cremated and taken on "the final ride" to revisit place she has been, and go to places she never got to go, but wanted to.

This fundraiser is to fulfill her final wishes. AFTER THE GOAL HAS BEEN REACHED, ALL FURTHER PROCEEDS WILL BE GIVEN TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT HAVE HELPED SHERRI AND HER FAMILY.
