Sherri Glennon

Hi, my name is Ed Glennon. I am Sherri Glennon's husband. I lost my beloved wife on Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, aboard the Norwegian Spirit cruise ship. She passed after a sudden illness at sea while crossing the Pacific Ocean.

Sherri retired three years ago from Caledonia Elementary School (Belvidere, IL, School District), where she taught third and fifth grades and served as a reading specialist.

She loved her students and delighted in their success as her original students are now graduating from college and embarking on their careers.

She always said that she wanted to help her students any way she could. This is why Sherri's loved ones are establishing a scholarship for students at Belvidere (IL) North High School who attended elementary school at Caledonia. Money raised through this Gofundme page will go toward annual lscholarships for male and female students moving on to post-high school training (college or trade). The cost of post-secondary education is getting more and more prohibitive, and we hope this scholarship award will help. Thank you!!
