Sherri's Treatment for ALS
Donation protected
Sherri Simmons Carrigan was recently diagnosed with ALS and she needs your help.
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Sherri and her husband Mike are regularly travelling to Boston where she is receiving an experimental treatment in an effort to fight this terrible disease. As you can imagine, the costs are significant.
Your contribution is an important step in helping Sherri access treatment.
Our goal is to reach a goal of $5,000 by November 24, 2018.
We have also organized a poker tournament for the same date at the Timber Lounge in Halifax. Poker for Sherri Simmons. In order to make this tournament a success, we also need prize donations for the winners. If you or someone you know would also like to donate a prize for our tournament, please reach out.
