Hey everyone, my grandma (Sherry) wanted me to set this up to update everyone.

Most of you know she had a biopsy on April 18, and she’s had a rough recovery from that. The results of the biopsy revealed small cell carcinoma.

She saw the oncologist Wednesday July 12, and it was not the news any of us were wanting or prepared to hear. She is in stage 4 and has a rapid spreading tumor that is starting to push through her skin, causing her a lot of pain. She has decided against chemotherapy, and the oncologist said she has approximately 3 weeks. Hospice has been arranged, and although she did not come to her decision lightly this is what she feels is best.

My grandma has worked her butt off her whole live and has always been one to help everyone she can. She sure has has had a rough life but she always has a smile on her face. She asked me to make this gofundme to help us with the funeral expenses when that time comes.

I love my grandma more than anything (as do some many) and seeing her go through this is so hard. We ask everyone to keep her and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
