Sherry Schmidt is a force. Anyone who has been lucky enough to know her can vouch for that. She is a sister, a daughter, a MMA fighter, a friend, a role model, but more than anything… SHES A FUCKING BADASS. If you’ve ever seen her walking around in full makeup sporting a black eye you know exactly what I mean. Her smile is infectious and she could make you laugh about anything. She would never back down from a fight, literally or figuratively, and no one can stop her from saying exactly what’s on her mind. She is outspoken, adventurous, unpredictable, spontaneous, driven, determined, strong-willed, and dedicated. When I think about inspiring people she’s at the top of the list. She didn’t hold back from life and she definitely didn’t let anything stop her. She was unapologetically her authentic self everyday of her life. She would hate all these people crying. I can feel her rolling her eyes while I’m writing this so I’ll keep it short… Sherry's life was abruptly ended due to a tragic car accident on June 5, 2023. To help provide her family some relief a group of her friends has organized a fund to raise money to help take care of funeral costs and anything else her family may need while they take this time to grieve.
