Dear Friends, Community Members and THS CLASS OF 1978,

Sheryl Saxton, a cherished member of her community and a beloved classmate from THS 1978, has recently received news that none of us ever want to hear – she's battling cancer. Sheryl is the backbone of her family, which includes her loving husband, four adult children, four adopted children, and two foster children and her grandchildren who all depend on her unwavering love and care.

Sheryl and Mark, her husband, have always been known for their incredible generosity and kindness, quietly supporting those around them without seeking recognition. Sheryl even provides daycare for children in their community of Chamberlain SD, demonstrating her selflessness and dedication to others.

Now, it's our turn to rally around Sheryl and her family during this challenging time. Next week, Sheryl will undergo surgery for breast cancer, and while she faces this battle with courage, she needs our support. We've created this GoFundMe page with the sole purpose of helping Sheryl and her family cover the significant costs of medical bills, insurance deductibles, living expenses, and travel expenses during her recovery.
