Sheryl Zeman family

Hi! I am a good friend of Sheryl Zeman.  Recently, she and I spoke of starting a Go Fund Me page, to help her children during this critical time of need, while she is recovering from her brain surgery. Of course, Sheryl was determined she would be back to work within a couple weeks, as she loved her job as a self employed daycare provider. She has been doing this job for 14 years now, and loved doing it. She was always making special meals for the children,  doing projects with them and doing music time. She loved when the kids would start dancing, and loved very much being able to care for her young grandson, Dominic. She was so excited to become a Grandma!!

Sheryl has such a zest for life!!! She loves her family more than anything, and cherished all who knew her and all who knew her  cherished her!

Sheryl needs our help now. She is recovering from her surgery, she has no income coming in,  and she still has her young son, William at home.  Sheryl is very worried about his day to day needs, and also being able to keep her house up and household bills paid,  that will accumulate while she is recovering.

As it sounds now, Sheryl will be in the hospital for several weeks, maybe months, and will have rehabilitation while there. The doctors were not able to remove all of the tumor, and had a few complications along the way.  The doctors believe she had a small stroke, as her right side isnt as strong as her left side.  She is recognizing pain, but she still hasnt awakened.  Time will be her healer. As of today, she is in ICU, and visitors will need to check in with the family before seeing her, as to not over stimulate her, as the doctors are wanting her brain to rest, so no loud noises or touching, and limited talking. 

Talking with April this morning, the doctors said their main concern right now is with her memory. She should be able to remember everyone, but absorbing new information will be complicated for her.  Its going to be a long road for her, she needs our help! Not just only monetary, but with any physical help with the upkeep of her house and also for her young son still at home.

Sheryl expressed to me the night before surgery how much this GoFundMe meant to her, and wanted me to let you know she is very thankful for all of you and anything you can do to help her during this time of need.

This is a recent update her daughter April posted on her Facebook in regards to her mom. I will post  updates when I can.

"She's not doing very well yet she's improving at the same time. She had a small stroke on right side. Had fevers and stuff too. Will be here for weeks at least maybe longer and will have to go through rehab. Could be something that comes back and she gets very sick. Until they get results to know what it is we won't know as far as treatment. Her movement is somewhat getting better, she is trying to respond to commands but can't follow through so her brain is getting the respo...nse but can't quite get her body to do it yet. She isn't awake yet is aware of what's going on around her. Simple stimulation right now is good but have to be careful of over stimulating her brain. She does have blood where tumor was but isn't bleeding and her spinal fluid is traveling ok into her brain.
