Help mother lay Shevondia "Semaj" Bell to rest RIP

On Monday, December 18th 2023, Shakyla Bell was awakened from her sleep to find out that her 18 year old daughter, Shevondia “Semaj” Bell, was killed in a car crash.

Semaj was in the car with 2 of her friends, one was a girl and the other one was her ex boyfriend turned friend, Marine John Brand. John was the driver of a stolen Marine vehicle who attempted to flee from from the police. Semaj and her friend asked several times for John Brand, to let them out. He refused saying “he did not want to go to jail. He ultimately ,” after he lost control of the vehicle and ran into a brick wall. An unfortunate accident happened were Semaj was ejected out of the vehicle and lost her life.

Semaj was the oldest child of Shakyla. She was the girl who lit up every room as soon as she walked in with a beautiful smile that stayed on her face mad or sad! She was the life of every party. She was also an AMAZING big sister to all of her siblings who loved her dearly and looked up to her.

Semaj leaves behind her mother, Shakyla Bell, who is currently a single mother of 7 out of 9 living children. Her siblings, Ky’Leil Braley (14), the twins, Shyla and Ky’Reion (11), Randell (7), Osiris (6), Ray’Veon (5) and Sireil (3), who are all having a very hard time dealing with the sudden loss of their beautiful daughter and sister. Not only is this mom trying to hold it together for herself, it has become extremely hard to be strong for her other children. Not only has the mother lost Semaj, she also lost her youngest child, Sireil’s twin brother 2 years ago.

Let’s please help this mother put her beautiful angel, Semaj Bell down to rest peacefully. Anything counts. We appreciate anything!
