Shhhh Kim deserves our help

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to ask for your help. My mom does not know I am doing this, and would never have given me the OK to do it. For now, please don’t reach out to her, because she will wonder how you know about her battle. If you know my mom though in any capacity, then you know her incredible heart. My mother is the most thoughtful, selfless, and generous (beyond her means) person I have ever been blessed enough to know. My mom shows her love to those around her and that encounter her and now it is her turn. My mom told me just after Christmas that she has breast cancer. Since she is always thinking of others, she held it in all through the holidays for an entire month, so that she would not put a damper on our holiday time. My mom starts chemo this Thursday, January 12. This is the kind of news that devastates you and punches you right in the gut. My mom is tough. My mom handles all things, and rarely ever asks for help. I am asking for her.

First, if you are receiving this, then you know my mom in some capacity and I am asking that you please pray for her. From the moment I found out I have prayed and prayed. I have begged God to show me ways I can be there for my mom and in mid prayer, the idea of a go fund me popped into my mind. I give God the credit for this idea and pray blessings over this.

Prayer is more powerful and beneficial than anything you could give my mom, so if that is what you choose to give I’m going to go ahead and say thank you now.

However, I also know that my mom will be carrying a weight around for the next several months or for a timeframe that is unknown to us and it will come with many challenges, including financial ones. I would love to lift any financial burden from my mom that I can during this hard time. This is not something my mom would ever ask for but if you feel at all compelled to help my mom, it would be incredibly appreciated.
