Help Us Take "An Unquiet Mind" into the World!

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

We'd like to invite you to mission close to our hearts. For the past six years, we have worked on a documentary, "An Unquiet Mind," which explores the often misunderstood world of OCD. But we need your help to start getting the movie into the world, especially after our World Premiere at ReelAbilitiesin New York City! (Please come if you're in the area!)

Here’s a little background of why this movie is so personal and important. In 2018, the Director of our documentary, Rachel, was ready to be through with life. We could see how she desperately wanted to escape the pain she felt in her mind, just wanting relief.

When Rachel stabilized after going through a residential program, she made a brave decision to use her film industry skills to help others facing similar mental health challenges through a documentary about stigmatized forms of OCD.

For six years, our team has worked tirelessly on this project, and we're overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support we've received. To those who have already contributed, your generosity has touched our hearts deeply. Your belief in this project has been our driving force, and we cannot thank you enough for your faith in us.

Thanks to over 250 amazing donors, we raised $76,000 in our first two fundraisers!! We stretched every dollar and it has gotten us to an almost finished product. In fact…we will be finished with the documentary by Feb 2025 - WOOHOO!

Our greatest need now is an additional $67,000 to start getting the movie into the world. This money will be used for screenings in theaters, universities, schools, hospitals, legal fees, streaming platforms - truly any place we can make a difference in someone’s life.

We're reaching out to 670 people. If each person contributes $100, we'll reach our goal! If you've already supported us, please know that your previous contribution has been invaluable. If you're able to consider an additional donation, it would mean the world to us. For first-time donors, thank you for believing in our mission to raise awareness about mental health challenges.

We're excited to offer Executive/Associate Producer opportunities for those willing to support at the $5,000 level or above by Jan 31. If you or anyone you know is interested in these opportunities, please reach out to me directly to discuss the details.

As a token of our appreciation, everyone who donates at least $100 by Jan 31 will be listed in the end credits of the film and on our IMDB page.

Together, we will help this film raise awareness about mental health challenges, change lives and encourage people that there is hope and they are not alone!

How to Donate:

We are asking for donations (not tax deductible) to be made via this page so that we can avoid the additional 10% fiscal sponsor fee. However, if you do itemize or need tax-deductible options on larger gifts, please contact us.

Every donation brings us closer to our goal of $67,000. Together, we can turn a time that once represented darkness into one of light and hope.

Whether or not you're able to provide financial support, we'd love for you to keep this film in your thoughts, prayers, and even spread the word once it comes out!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this secret mission. Your support, whether through donations, encouraging messages, or simply your thoughts and prayers, means everything to us. Together, we're not just making a film; we're creating a life changing documentary that will bring hope to millions.

With lots of love,

Natasha, Kovid & Rachel
