Hurricane Harvey and Irma Recovery

UPDATE: Senior Helpers initiated this GoFundMe in response to Hurricane Harvey, a category 4 hurricane which resulted in unprecedented amounts of rain, massive flooding and devastation throughout the Houston, TX area.
Over the past weekend, Hurricane Irma, a storm of historic proportions on many levels, has hit the state of Florida very hard as well. While the true impact of these storms has yet to be determined, we know that people in the area are in dire need of help as they begin to look towards recovery.
Senior Helpers has locations and clients in the areas that have been impacted by both storms. We are updating this campaign in order to contribute to the hurricane relief efforts in Texas and Florida. We are also increasing the match for the campaign to $20,000. Helping and caring for others is what we do best as an organization- please join us in helping to support those directly impacted by these catastrophic events through your donation here to the American Red Cross. Senior Helpers will match donations made through this campaign, up to the first $20,000.
