Shine light on Cory!

Hello, my name is Amber Melby and I am a friend and co-worker of a super special person named Cory.

Cory has worked in long-term care taking care of others her whole adult life. She is currently the Activity Director at a small assisted living facility in rural Minnesota called South View Living Center where the motto is "Our Family Caring for Yours."

Cory gives tirelessly to help other people. She is a bright light to all who know her and goes above and beyond every day to improve the quality of life for the elderly people she works with.

She was the first teammate voted by her peers to receive the "Spirit of South View award" in 2019 for her amazing work and for being such a great co-worker.

Cory was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, 2/23. It took 45 minutes to get her unpinned from the car. She was airlifted to St. Cloud hospital where she is currently receiving treatment. She has multiple broken bones including a shattered leg and a broken collarbone.

While we are counting our blessings this wasn't worse, we know her recovery and healing will be extensive. Due to this, her South View family is asking for help to shine some light on her during this time.

Any money raised will go to help pay for her expenses while she is out of work and her medical bills.
