SHIPS SHORT FILM

"SHIPS" is a Feature Film that follows a young woman navigating a series of surprising relationships in her life while battling anxiety and depression. We’re creating a film that de-stigmatizes mental illness and sheds light on how living with a mental illness impacts the day-to-day.

This initial GoFundMe will give our producing team and crew the seed money to shoot the story’s prologue, which is a short 12-minute film. This short will act as a proof of concept to producers, various grants, and be entered into festivals. Your donation will go directly to our team of artists, and help us pay for equipment, locations and post-production work.

We are passionate about telling this story, and we recognize the immense privilege we have in telling it. That is why 10% of our donations will be sent to "The Trevor Project''.

"The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to young people, ages 13-24, within the LGBTQ+ community." It is important now, more than ever, to support our more vulnerable communities.
