In loving memory of Shirlene Polk
Donation protected
On Monday, August 7, 2023, God called another one of his angels home.
Shirlene Polk., was a mother, grandmother, sister, friend, niece, travel partner, writer, and so much more to those who knew her. While she may be absent in the body, her spirit will always be with us. Her joy, love, and encouragement remain in our hearts.
One of the last things my grandmother wanted was a new pair of shoes. However, she couldn’t find a pair that fit due to the inflammation that swelled her feet. I believe the pair she was looking for were already picked out in heaven, with a peace that would surpass all understanding.
“For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.” — Ephesians 6:15 NLT
As our family mourns the loss of my grandmother, my mother and I humbly ask for your support through donations to cover costs associated with the funeral arrangements. We also ask that you please share this news respectfully and in loving honor of Shirlene Polk.
