This fundraiser benefits my good friend and co-worker, Shirley Haynes. Her longtime partner, Jefferson ‘Wildman’ Harris has been through a lot of health issues, recently suffered a stroke, and is currently in hospice care. Shirley’s Mother, Mary Chapman Harris is also receiving extended care after she broke her hip. Shirley is currently on leave at work and with that comes with a lot of uncertainty. She holds on to her faith, family, and friends. This fundraiser will help her and their family with the many expenses that are adding up, and that will be one less thing for her and their family to think about in this challenging time.
