Anyone who knew our mom knew that she was an avid advocate for education. Over 25 years of her career were spent in daycare. The Grace Place CDC is launching an early childhood development center. Mama was slated to be the founding director.

In her honor, we are naming the center the Shirley M. Willis Early Childhood Development Center.
