Honoring Shirley Owens Last Wishes

On July 13, 2018 this world lost a beautiful, kind spirit when Shirley Owens departed for a better place. More importantly, my best friend Cory Owens and his sister Crystal lost their mother, confidant, and rock. Ms. Owens passing was unexpected and and sudden so no plans were in place to assist with final arrangements. Her wish was to be cremated and her ashes spread along the beach. This money would go toward helping with cremation costs but also for Cory and Crystal to travel together and carry out their mother’s wishes. Cory is one of the most amazing people I have met in my life. He has been through a lot but you would never know it with his constant positivity and radiant smile. While money can not bring back his mother or take away the pain he and his family feel, it can alleviate the financial burden and provide him and Crystal with an opportunity to spend time together honoring their mother’s memory and allowing the healing process to begin.
