Help Shiv

My name is Kalyani and I am raising funds to help my younger brother Shiv and his family handle medical expenses.Shiv had a heart attack on March 22 ,2023 and underwent heart bypass surgery which had several complications. He has been in the ICU in Austin, Texas for the past four months with myself and his wife and other family members in constant attendance.He has been dealing with this catastrophic illness and the mental effects of prolonged hospitalization and putting up a brave fight. Due to the extent of his complications he will continue to need medical care and prolonged rehabilitation. Shiv is an ambitious go-getter and constant source of positive energy to his wife, daughter, parents, niece, friends, and myself, and we would appreciate any donations you can make during this difficult time for him and our family. These donations will help the family pay part of his medical bills .Shiv was brought to Lansing by medical air ambulance on August 6 and is currently admitted to local hospital . He underwent major lung surgery ( decortication ) to remove scarring and infected tissue which was preventing his lung from expanding and creating recurrent problems . As of today he is in ICU awaiting extubation .
