Short Feature Film about the Syrian Refugee Crisis

Finding Shelter follows the true and tragic story of a group of Syrian refugees leaving everything behind and fleeing imminent death, seen through the eyes of a 10 year old girl. First by boat to Greece, and then by truck to Austria, there is room for nothing but the clothes on your back and the hope in your heart. Hana, however, refuses to leave without her best friend, a little dog named Ronaldo. Despite the impending doom and protests from her father, she devises a plan to sneak Ronaldo in a bag to accompany her on the gruelling journey ahead.

As we gear up to film this powerful tale on August 26th-29th, we're facing unforeseen challenges. Compounded ACTRA fees due to an ongoing strike have created a significant funding gap. Additionally, the withdrawal of a sponsor has resulted in a loss of $10,000, putting our project's future at risk.
