Waar gaat de film over?

De film gaat over Elara (20) en de interne conflicten die bij haar relatie met Lucio (26) komen kijken. Elara is een jonge violiste en studeert aan het conservatorium. Haar vriendje Lucio moet onverwachts terug naar zijn geboorteland Italië door problemen binnen zijn familie. Deze gebeurtenis is voor Elara moeilijk te accepteren, ondanks dat ze weet dat ze hem niet tegen kan houden. Elara zoekt haar uitweg in het maken van muziek. Het onderdrukken van emoties komt terug in een droom van Elara. Na deze confrontatie begint ze langzaam de situatie te accepteren.

Wie ben ik?

Hoi! Mijn naam is Noa, 19 jaar, en ik ga dit project regisseren. Zelf heb ik het script ook geschreven en heb heel veel zin om het ook waar te maken. Het thema van de film is het onderdrukken van emoties. Ik vind het belangrijk dat de doelgroep van de film, jongeren, daar open over kunnen praten. Dat wil ik op een bijzondere manier aankaarten in deze film.

Waarom hebben we jouw hulp nodig?

Momenteel zijn wij goed op weg met de voorbereidingen voor onze film. We willen eind januari aan de eerste opnames beginnen, maar voor die tijd moet er nog veel gebeuren.

Om ons idee te realiseren hebben wij namelijk aardig wat geld nodig. Neem bijvoorbeeld het huren van apparatuur en locaties, maar ook de kosten die komen kijken bij de catering, vervoer en natuurlijk de vertoning.

What’s the movie about?

The film is about Elara (20) and the internal conflicts that she faces during her relationship with Lucio (26). Elara is a young violinist who studies at the conservatory. Her boyfriend Lucio unexpectedly has to return to his native Italy, due to problems within his family. Elara is having trouble accepting it, even though she knows she can't stop him from leaving her. She finds peace in creating music. After suppressing her emotions in a bad dream, Elara slowly begins to learn how to deal with her feelings.

Who am I?

Hello, my name is Noa, I’m 19 years old, and I’m gonna be directing this project. I have written the script myself and I’m really looking forward to make this a reality. The theme of the film is suppressing emotions. For me, it’s important that the youth, the target audience for this film, can speak openly and freely about their feelings.

Why do we need your help?

We are currently well on our way with the preparations for our film. We would like to start shooting during the final weeks of January, but there is still a lot to be done before we reach that point.

We need quite a bit of money to realize our idea. Take, for example, the rental of equipment and locations, but also the costs involved catering, transportation and, of course, the first screening.
