Shortcakes Heartworm Treatment

Shortcakes was hanging around our Dollar General for a week begging customers to take her home. We stopped for ice and that’s when we met DG’s newest stray dog. She was unbelievably sweet and just wanted humans to notice her. We told her to load up in our van and she did! We brought her home to foster and now we’re getting her ready for adoption. She’s been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed but sadly her Heartworm test came back positive. She begins treatment in two weeks! We created this fundraiser to help with her vetting expenses. Her first visit was $340 and her Heartworm treatments will run around $500. Thank you guys for helping us get Shortcakes healthy again!
