Shouna Wyatt Reynolds Cancer Expenses & Care

Hi, my name is Mary Painter Doss and I am fundraising for my wonderful friend, Shouna Wyatt Reynolds.

Many of you know Shouna from the Kennedy Space Center, TBJC, cheer or volunteering at Imperial Estates Elementary, Jackson Middle School or THS... What you may not know is what she has been facing the past 3 years.

In June 2020 she fell and broke her hip and they discovered she has a rare bone cancer, Chrondrosarcoma, which led to the amputation of her left leg & hip in September of that year. The hope was that they removed it all as it does not respond to chemo or radiation. But by the following year, it had metastasized into her lungs and come back on her pelvis. So in December 2022 she had two-thirds of the left pelvis removed.

She went through 2 different drug trials in Gainesville but neither improved her situation. Most recently she had 3 weeks of radiation on what was left of her left pelvis which currently has several tumors, the largest is 5cmx7cm. That has grown significantly since the radiation ended 5 weeks ago.

I am starting this GoFundMe for her to help her with her mounting medical bills, mobility van payments, not to mention her regular monthly bills that she has trouble reaching every month. I am hoping to remove this added stress so she can concentrate on her health. The medical doctors have exhausted their treatments, but are monitoring a holistic alternative we came across. We have 3 personal accounts that in 6 months their cancer was gone. One had metastasized breast cancer, one had prostate cancer and the third lymphoma. All three of these people live in Titusville. If this doesn't cure her type of cancer, maybe it will slow it to keep her with us for many years and she can watch her 1st and only grandbaby grow. (Pictured above)
