Show Hoot Gibson, aka Dave Ensign, some love

Donation protected
Hello everyone. It's Kim, or some of you know me as Mrs. Gibson or Sunnyside. I am Dave/Hoot's wife. Actually it is 25 years of marriage on the 27 the of this month. Everyone I am writing you to ask if you can help out Dave. He has been through the wringer and he could really use some support. It started with my cancer diagnosis and treatment in 2010 to 2018. Thankfully I am in remission now. It then went on to him losing his lifelong friend Ed/Chief of cancer, and the very sudden death of his sister.

He furthermore has been weathering the storm of the very volatile scenic business here in Orlando. COVID was not kind to those in the hospitality industry here. Also he has been facing some health issues that impact him in his jobs, which are usually very physical. His stress level is at unreal levels. He finally has a decent job, with good benefits that he will start soon.

We are also faced with a move. We sign the new lease on the 31st, and the deposits are so high. Guys, the rental market here is awful, and our new place has so many fees and deposits that we are way over budget.

If Hoot Gibson has ever brought a smile to your face, if Dave has reached you and made you laugh on a bad day, if you are able, (and I know, in the current state if things, many simply cannot) if you are able, please check out his stores and buy something. Or consider a small donation. We have been trying to navigate this as best we can, and now I am coming to you all, humbly, from the bottom of my heart to ask for help. He is stressed beyond belief, he is having so much anxiety, and I am sincerely worried about him. He does not like to share his personal struggles, he is an entertainer at heart, and whenever you meet him he will have a huge smile and a joke for you. If you all could consider a small donation, or purchase that piece you have been looking at it would mean the world to him. Just a small push would get us over the top and into a new safe apartment where Dave/Hoot can settle into a new job, and begin bringing smile to your faces again. We appreciate every single one of you all and anything would be so helpful. Thanks so much for taking time to read this and remember, take care of each other, and always be kind.
