Hello Everyone,
As some of you know on 1/2/24 Brittany was shot while sitting on the sofa browsing the internet on her phone. This was random and unexpected. Her son Tavion (Tay-Man) was also present and has been traumatized, as his father was murdered in 2015. The bullet came through the window, struck Brittany in the back of her neck and exited from the bridge of her nose almost between her eyes. All of the facial bones on the right side of her face have been fractured and she is in a coma and on a ventilator. Due to extensive injuries and needing multiple surgeries Brit is facing a long and painful recovery. Of course she will not be able to work neither will I and expenses still need to be paid. I hate to ask for help but my family would appreciate ANYTHING that you are able to give to help us in this time of need. Her son is 12 years of age and he is not taking this well. I have been sick and unable to eat or sleep because of this and I am afraid to go home. My family really appreciates each and everyone of you! Please continue to pray for us. Brittany has undergone one of her many surgeries and her jaw has been wired. She is still on a ventilator and not breathing on her own. She is heavily sedated and in a tremendous amount of pain due to the extent of her injuries which are pretty severe. I pray all day for her comfort and gospel music plays in her room for comfort. I have raised her fundraising goal because she will need to relocate due to fact that this shooting was random and we don’t know the cause. I am afraid for my family so we will need to find a place to move ASAP. Thank you for your donations, prayers and kind words. We need you family and friends and you continue to show up for us.
